Best book light?

I suppose almost everyone has a book light for their Kindle now but a few may be interested in the latest "Signalex Electronic Book Reading Lamp - for Kindle". I've tried dozens of book lights (including mightybright) and believe that this little beauty outshines (sorry!) them all. Runs off 2 button batteries (included) and gives a very bright even light over all of the screen area..

Morning Prints, where do I find this please. Looked on Amazon and got no results.

Sorry, Suze, it is from Poundland, so well worth a punt!

Suze says:
Thank you. I should have realised where it was from as Poundland seem to be selling all Signalex stuff at the moment.

Looks like there was a thread on this last December. It has only just reached our local Poundlands, so worth mentioning again :-)

Suze says:
Definitely worth another mention. I alway looks for stuff like that in Poundland, and a couple of weeks ago I bought a stand for my iPad, only I use it more for my kindle if I want to read while eating. One of the best things I've bought in ages for a quid.

Has anyone else found that if you "Search Customer Discussions" (searching all) to see if something has been mentioned before it is hard to tell, but if you Google it the discussion (if it exists) is near the top of the list?

I ended up buying a generic neoprene Kindle cover from Poundland.

I've spent the £23.99 I've saved on books.

Signalex is a rubbish make though Prints!

Brian says:
Some of it's ok , but most of it's junk , Suze.

Suze says:
It depends what you want though. I've had leather iPod cases out of there and same with phone cases. I also used to buy some of their books before kindle.

Yeah , like I said , some stuff's ok , and you can even get name branded items there - like I got a Shaeffer foutain pen once , among other things , but most of the stuff is junk. Don't get me wrong though Suze , the Pound Shop , is my HQ , and I'm in there all the time scrounging for bargains , and I'll certainly get Print's reading light , when it comes to Southport -Signalex or no Signalex - the way I look at is , you can sport a quid , particularly on a recommendation. You'd laugh if you saw us in there - we always come out with 3 or 4 carrier bags full of stuff. My other HQ is Home and Bargain, by the way , and yes, I'm a scrounger at heart.

I've fell out with Home & Bargain a bit, they don't have half the bargains they used to have when they were still small. Same with B&M. Still get some not bad stuff, but, at one time they were packed out with good deals.

I know what you mean , Suze - we went to B & M last week for the first time in ages , and we weren't impressed - used to be in there all the time , years ago. Home & Bargain , don't stock so many bargains , you're right there - still a useful shop for certain things though - i regularly buy honey , porridge , batteries , and Mr. Tom Bars from there , and I picked up a good fountain pen for 59p there last week. Toilet rolls are cheap too , to get down to basics. My main hope of a bargain is the Pound Shop , though.

@Brian
Depends what you buy. I've bought several HDMI cables from there and they all work. Can't think of any Signalex stuff I've had to return, which I can't say of some better respected makes (probably also made by the Chinese).

Yes , I know it's hit and miss Prints -but steer clear of their headphones though , because they're a joke. I've got two lovely Signalex multi phone cables , which although only having a short lead , work a treat. I wouldn'tv recommend anythingv else though , but I'll be buying the reading light , and HDMI cables , if I ever need 'em , on your say so now. They must be good if they've got the royal seal of approval :)
