I bought a kindle fire HD a few weeks ago set up the wi-fi connection DSL-2640R. I can receive emails from my server TalkTalk in the normal way, however they subsequently disappear from the kindle but stay on my pc.
Recently I did not go online my pc for a few days and the emails stayed on the kindle screen but when I opened up my pc and then looked at the kindle, they had gone.
The kindle support advisor set up an account with K-9 but this is affected in the same way.
Can anyone help?

How do you mean your Kindle e-mail address? If you mean the e-mail address Amazon allocate to each and every Kindle there is no setting up required. If you're talking about your usual e-mail address then you just use the same settings as you use for setting it up on your PC.

As Damaskcat says: there are NO Amazon settings to be set up for email.

Either you are talking about the email address of your individual Kindle - which can only be used to send documents other things to it as attachments. You can't receive normal email messages to that address. You have to register the SENDING address in Manage Your Kindle before you can send anything.

OR you are talking about your normal email addresses: In which case you use the same settings as any other client device. Which email service??

you win the contest for most off topic thread hijacking of the month

the thread is about email and you're asking about Russin Keyboards (yes on the current Kindle Fires) and as for Google it can only use it as a search engine
