CBRetriever says:
it should be still under the one year warranty - try calling kindle support

Suze says:
Mr Reardon, you are still well in warranty. Call customer support like CBRetriever said and explain what's happened. They've replaced loads of accidents like this, so they might do yours as well.

I worry about Mr Reardon having a handbag.

All you metrosexual guys have man bags, its what you keep your guy-liner in...

Frenchie says:
thought the same but then again, men do have these little handbags Men's Unisex Small Black Leather Wrist Bag Travel Organiser Pouch Camera Man Bag with wrist strap and a shoulder strap . you put the strip through your wrist, not like a lady's handbag handle.

BeeJayTee says:
How can you have a "men's unisex" bag?

Fi esta says:
You like to travel, what do you use to keep your bits and bobs in? (*Whispers is it a bum-bag?*)
;-p

Roger says:
In my case, it's called a pocket

Fi esta says:
When your travelling about, you would need deep pockets if you have: a mobile, a camera, a wallet, an ipod, a kindle...
Or, go the full monty and carry a rucksack.

Loads of blokes have handbags. Whats the problem?

BeeJayTee says:
Get a sense of humour.

Fi - a backpack - more butch.

Suze says:
I think a bloke with a bag looks far better than loads of pockets absolutely bulging with keys, phone, camera etc. My nephew has used one for a couple of years, and to be honest when he's out anywhere with me or his mum, we don't think twice about dumping our stuff in his bag.

I'll own up - last holiday was 3 weeks travelling.
I got a canvas shoulder bag for my kindle and other reading matter and odds'nsods.
But it was a very manly one.

Damaskcat says:
I've always thought that men ought to carry bags then they wouldn't dump all their essential stuff in my bag :-)

BeeJayTee says:
I actually hate having anything in my pocket and will not use a wallet.
Top pocket of my jacket is the limit.

BeeJayTee says:
I wasn't going to admit to that one!

Suze says:
That's true. I always end up with a load of brochures etc in my bag and by the end of a day out the thing weighs a ton. Better than 2 hours in the gym weightlifting I think.

CBRetriever says:
the french either use messenger bags, small man bags or wear fishing vests/waistcoats with lots of pockets

and I often pass stuff to my Mr to carry in his messenger bag - he refers to himself as the pack mule

Damaskcat says:
I like messenger bags and have had one for years - unisex and very practical.

CBRetriever says:
they're actually what I buy instead of a handbag/purse - I like my hands and arms free

BeeJayTee says:
So that's what I have - a messenger bag.
I can live with that one :)

Just in case?

Damaskcat says:
So do I and you can get more in them than the average bag and they're much cheaper.

Was it a 'Desperate Dan Cow Pie' one with a hairy strap?
