I'm reading Locked In (Jessica Daniel Book 1)
It's not too bad, and nice to have a book set in UK (Manchester) for a change :-) The premise is a good one, and I am 68% in, and over all I'm enjoying it. The lack of punctuation in some places has driven me mad, because it means reading sentences twice in order to make any sense of it, but otherwise it's OK :-)x

Just finished Hilary Mantel's 'Bring up the Bodies', about Anne Boleyn's journey to the Tower, which was excellent.

Lilian, Hi! I read locked in and really enjoyed it!
Vigilante (Jessica Daniel Book 2) was very good too! Haven't read the third one though as fancied a change. hope you are well. x

Hi pixie, yes I'm fine thanks. Looking forward to going to Southampton on Monday for a couple of weeks, visiting my daughter there and son in Portsmouth :-) Best of all I'll be meeting my new great grand-daughter for the first time, so I'm very excited :-)
I am enjoying Locked In on the whole, but not sure if I want to read Vigilante....maybe I need to finish this one first and see how it all works out. I must say it's quite scary thinking about the way the victims are murdered!
Hope you enjoyed To The Grave, and Steve tells me he is working on the next in the series, so that's something to look forward to :-)x

Lilian, I've still not started "To the grave" saving it for best! Reading..
A Lively Form of Death (Chief Inspector Morrissey Mysteries) It is really well written but the printing is a little disjointed, a printing problem.
I love Hampshire, I lived and worked in Portsmouth, or rather worked there but lived in Gosport.
Hope you are going to the factory outlet...I know it's early but christmas presents will be a bargain there...don't scream!

My daughter and I always go bargain hunting, and we love Gunwharf Quays :-) I spent a small fortune there last year mainly in the Radley and Cath Kidston shops...great bargains to be had :-)
You really should read To The Grave soon, it's really good :-)x

We always have a full day out at Gunwharf and finish with a lovely meal....exhausted but very happy :-) Haven't tried the Gingerlily from Molton Brown, so will have to give it a try. I do love their products and they always look really good when you give them as gifts :-)x

Pixie, I thought I was the only person who'd started Christmas shopping already.
I've just finished The Missing and thought it was fantastic, lots of suspense.

Kittycat, it's the only way to go. Can't stand mooching round the shops without an idea what to buy and ending up with some useless gift that costs the earth because I'm panicking! Much better to nab bargains throughout the year and know that the gift I choose has had some thought in it. Little secret......on qvc they have a clearance section, I always find lovely jewellery on there for a snip, But don't tell anyone Kitty!

Thats right, you did mention it. I had forgotten. Must go and have a sniff.

I'm reading Escaping the Twilight an eye opening lesson in the hard, cruel, and nearly hopeless life of women in the muslim faith. Though this story tears at your heart, it has a gripping plot that makes it difficult to put down.
