Can anyone tell me how to find the camera on the kindle and how to use it? I can't find it, thanks.

On my tablet I just select the "apps" option and then a load of apps appear in the window. The thirds one along says CAMERA. Not sure on a Fire, but assume the path is generally the same, apps / camera. Good luck.

The camera is for use via Skype. so go to apps and you will see Skype. Just click on it and follow instructions. Also the user guide is good for finding things, same again open it type in a search and it will give you options

The camera is not natively accesible except through Skype. however, download a free app from the Amazon Appstore called "photo editor" and you can now use the camera directly from within this app.
hope this helps

It only has one camera lens which faces you - unless you just turn it around so it faces away from you..

Rotate your tablet 180 degrees.

how do you view what you are photographing if you turn the lens away from you?

Denis Powell says:
You point it in the right direction and hope for the best. It's not been designed to use as a camera and it takes quite low resolution photographs.

As Denis says, you point and hope for the best :)

Steve, the app is in the App Store accessible from your Fire only. It's not on the website so there's no link.

Denis Powell says:
If you mean Photo Editor, when you tap on the icon in the Apps tab are you immediately getting a white screen? If so remove from the Fire and reinstall.

Hi, i have a new Kindle and have found a screen issue with the camera. when i turn on the camera the sreen is reduced on the right side by a solid black lien. it takes up about 20% of the screen, is this the same for other users. when i have other apps etc the screen is shown at full size. thanks for your help.
