I was just pointing out to Mrs G that if she needed our help, she needed to provide a little more information so we could help. I even added a couple of lines of Qs to help her understand the type of information that was needed.

And as someone once said: Sarcasm: the lowest form of wit, but the highest form of entertainment. (Or at least, I think that's what they said!).

The sarcasm is understandable as the umpteenth time someone complains and expects everyone else to read their mind.
It's easy to help when you know what the problem is. Rather difficult when you don't.
Hopefuuly, when others read this (sometimes more of a miracle when the answer is in the post before) they will understand you must give as much info as possible.

Assuming you have other devices attached to your router, using the same password that you are trying with your Kindle I.e pc, phone, tablet etc, I would go back to Kindle customer services and say that your router and wifi signal has been checked out and it seems to be a problem with the device. With a bit of luck they'll replace it.

I don't think you can do much more at your end.

If your typing your ISP password on your Kindle when trying to connect it to your wifi it sounds like the password is wrong.

You can type it so you can see the characters as you type. I sugest you check that against the password on your router, assuming you haven't changed it.

If you are definitely typing it correctly then talk to customer services just in case your Kindle is malfunctioning.

"I can not get past my email address"
Move it out of the way?

Where are you trying to get to? Where are you entering the email address (which app? browser? website? device?).

",it keeps saying my password is wrong"

Then it probably is. Capitals vs lower case?

It would also be helpful to know exactly what you mean by "can't connect" in the first place. For example, is it that the Kindle doesn't show your WiFi network - or even any networks - or that when you select your network you get an error message - or when you enter your network key it gives an error message - or there's no message and you get a WiFi icon when you conect but you still can't access the Kindle store? Without knowing what you're doing and what happens, it's almost impossible to tell what the problem is.
Tell us precisely what happens, and hopefully it'll help someone here to give you an answer.

When you say: "you have tried everything", then there can be nothing left for us to suggest.
If, in the other hand, you tell us what you HAVE tried, then we might be able to suggest more things to try.

Like: what channel are you using? Which router? Which firmware on the router? Have you rebooted the router? Which speed protocol are you using? Have you checked your MAC filtering rules? What did Amazon CS suggest? What did your ISP suggest?

(A) Has it ever worked ?

(B) Have you a coffee shop, library or pub with free Wi-Fi that you could try ?
