Hi Can you help please. I love reading Mandasue Heller, Kimberley Chambers, Maetina Cole, June Hampson, Jessie Keane type books. Are there any other new authors out there who write in a similare manner. I love UK crimewriters

Furny says:
I have read a couple Mandasue Heller & enjoyed them too.
I also love Martina Cole & her last book " The Family" had me hooked (as did most of her others) although I haven't read much of her early work which people say is the best.
From your post I will now try a couple of the other authors you have listed, thanks.
Some suggestions from me would be
Roberta Kray
Helen Black
Sheila Quigley
Kevin Lewis (fiction books)
Denise Ryan
Tess Gerritsen
Sheila Quigley
I think the above are closest in style, but then you have....
Nicci French
Karin Slaughter
P J Tracey
Lynda La Plante etc

Thank you all for your replies. I have got all the authors mentioned above along with Kimberley Chambers and Dreda Say Mitchell June Hampson. I guess its just a waiting game now to see how many new UK female crime writers come onto the scene.
