Hello all,

I'm looking for a mag on reading/books/writing with maybe competitions on writing bits and even advise (from pro) and exercise and up to date books and discussions and little fictions written by pro in it etc.... Do you know such mags? It'd be like any Hobbies mags I guess (like "Runner's world" for runners, "Men's health" for gym lovers etc)?

nobody subsribes to a magazine on the subject? Or maybe that doesn't exist! or maybe nobody wants to answer the boring question.

You could try google, posting this in the Meet Our Authors or browsing/asking in a shop that sells magazines.

Hello, thanks a lot for reply, this is appreciated and apologies for coming back on this rather late. This is pointless though as I don't think magazines for reader/writer as hobby really exist. I bought something called "woman's own" or "your's" not sure; there were lots of short novels written by I don't know and not interesting at all the kind which makes you put off reading if ever possible!!! there were even a small book, can't remember what it is, maybe "Love in the air" or similar. lol.

Have you tried ' Newbooks' magazine ? I think it is published every couple of months. Try their website for further details, they have lots of book reviews, author interviews, etc. I also believe that Waterstones have their own book magazine, once again I would try their website for information. Hope this helps.

Sorry to come back to this rather later: I had the impression this query didn't interest too many of us and didn't come back. Thanks a lot for this tip.
