M. Cameron says:
So I want this:

A Song of Ice and Fire, 7 Volumes

I already have the first book, but the set is cheaper than getting the other 6, even without the upcoming lightning deal.

But I don't want to get it, if they suddenly decide to put a 'proper' Kindle up.

Oh decisions, decisions. Why do you do this to me Amazon?!!

The only reason I didn't purchase it is because of lack of physical space (I already have 2,000+ books in my house) so I'll pay whatever it may be on the Kindle instead

The Used ones are more expensive - what's the sense in that? Good Price for the New set.

Have got rid of a load of books Rachael - was hard to do it but really needed the space.

Yeh thinking I might just get it. Considering they've put the Fire on a daily discount, I doubt the paperwhite will go up on a lightning deal.

It's OK, you can download any Amazon book purchase you've ever downloaded if you get a new kindle.
Speaking from experience, I just got a new one, and in Archived folder was everything I'd ever bought and it was downloaded by lunchtime. So if it packs in, no worries! Same with factory resets: piece of cake haha!

I had a Kindle that developed a slight crack in the corner of the case, hairline and very hard to see. I called to ask what I could do if it got worse, and about 40 minutes later had a new Kindle on the way, free of charge! My BF's Kindle was older, out of warranty, and died. After going through the troubleshooting routine and finding yes, it was broken, they offered a discount (I think about 40%) on the exact same model if he wanted it. So even if the Kindle does die somehow, Amazon are pretty good about replacements and discounts.

Miss LAT says:
Yea, mine was free and the kindle it replaced was 2 years old, so I was well out of warranty!

well! M. Cameron, looks like u do have a dilemma after all! Since amazon are willing to replace knackered Kindles and restore lost novels free then!
