They don't do Saturday deliveries normally but maybe as it's the run up to Christmas they'll start

You'll be lucky if they deliver at all... sat in the house waiting for them they didn't even knock on the door. No attempt at delivery, just sent them back to the depot. Shocking service

I've got six things coming in the next couple of days and I'm dreading it. The last time Yodel 'delivered' to my home they didn't knock the door, and they chucked the package over the fence where it got stuck between our caravan and fence.

I'm still waiting on items that I bought on Monday :/ Am going to go and check the garden in a mo, especially as I ordered things for friends and they have received theirs already.

Me too Nixy. Yodel are rubbish! But then again I suppose that's the penalty for choosing free delivery

Jane says:
Yodel "apparently" tried to deliver to me yesterday even though I was in all day but because I had no calling card I couldn't re-arrange through the automated system. Managed to get them on the phone after trying every option and they said they ran out of time!! Waiting in AGAIN today!!

I've had the "thrown over fence" delivery method too. It was a waste of time complaining to Yodel but do report it to Amazon who seemed to take it more seriously.

I use Amazon Prime and I get my deliveries from Yodel too so its not just for super saver. Not had many problems with them tho except one time they left they're card in the buzzer panel at the front door and it blew into the garden! I didn't find it til the next day but when I called I had my item within about an hour. Must depend on the area I guess!

Yodel don't deliver...they just lie.

Nope, nothing in the garden which is good being as it's done nothing but rain! The last parcel that they delivered was worth £400 and they just left it on my doorstep!

Mr. P. Blunt says:
I got a yodel delivery last sat at 3pm, and he was really nice, he said he wanted to get all the deliveries done, no matter how long it took, so they are not all bad

Monkey says:

They are hopeless but after trying to deliver to me twice they finally delivered on Saturday

You know the same thing happened to me. I didn't even get a card. I tracked my delivery as time was getting on, only to see that they were claming they had attempted a delivery, which they most definitely hadn't. I did eventually get the parcel, but not in time for what I had ordered it for even though I had allowed ample time for normal delivery. Not a reliable company

I've got 6 things coming this week too, from the complaints about Yodel circulating around Amazon I'm not looking forward to it... especially when only three cheap items are trackable - with my camera being untrackable :(!

I've had a Saturday delivery, but I believe the surly sod who delivers to me usually, lives locally and does a 'catch-up' on a Saturday for local deliveries.

JGC says:
Other than seeming a bit slower getting here than some of the other carriers my parcel from Yodel arrived without fuss on Saturday evening around 5pm. I'm not sure if he rang the doorbell (I didn't hear it) but he came around and tapped on the living room window to let me know he was at the door.

Hopefully it bodes well for the other parcels Yodel are delivering over the next few days.

Mine arrived at 6pm on SUNDAY! I'm not convinced by the online tracking either, I was expecting said parcel on Friday and at 4pm the status suddenly changed from "at depot" to "out for delivery/customer not in" as of 1pm. I'd been in all day and checking online every half hour.

Waiting for a delivery from yodel it was supposed to be today, on checking its stuck at the local depot which incidentally is like 5 minutes from here..Guess im gonna be waiting a long time

Liz says:
Yodel tracking service is a complete lie on times. Tracking showed my latest parcel as being 'out for delivery' at 7.30am and then later as 'no one home to accept parcel, card left' at approx 1.pm and 6pm. No cards were left!
I waited at home for 2 days and no parcel arrived. I complained to Yodel and after getting home late Sunday evening found they had attempted to deliver that day. Yes a Sunday!!!! I rang the no on the card which WAS left and delivery was finally made Monday morning. Don't know if my complaint made any difference.
