Towerfest 2015 Information

Date - Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June
Venues - Drax Sports And Social Club Festival Field, Drax, Selby North Yorkshire YO8 8PF
Cost - Full Weekend Ticket £40.00. Caravan, Camping or Motor Home £25.00
Towerfest is and open air country music festival held in the shadow of Drax power Station in North Yorkshire. Three days of country music and line dancing with fourteen live acts plus DJ and Compere to keep it all in full swing. Excellent camping and caravanning facilities in this secure site help to make this Yorkshire's premier open air festival.
This will be the ninth Towerfest festival and it becomes more and more popular each year. Many people re-booking before they leave and an amazing return rate of 92% of customers once again. Our westerners and anyone wanting to join them have a competitive shootout, rifle shooting, knife throwing, horse shoe throwing and much more. With all the proceeds from their events going to a nominated charity. Before our last act on the Sunday evening we perform a spectacular Trilogy where you will many of the westeners march into the arena in full military uniforms to perform this traditional commemoration to the American Civil War.

Many trade stands surround the arena with authentic western goods and trinkets. Our fully licensed club has also excellent facilities to offer. Booking for camping is important and also for the Friday night which is in our club house.Day visitors will be made welcome on the gate Saturday and Sunday but can save money by booking in advance. Friday night is always all ticket as it is in the club house.

Stages / areas / venues

Friday night the stages are in the club house Saturday and Sunday in the main outdoor arena


You can download a booking for from our website www.towerfest.co.uk or you can also book online at the same website. We make no surcharges for booking with a credit or debit card online.

Food & Drink Available
Full meals etc in the club house plus from the trade stands.
How to Get To Festival (By Car, Bus & Train)
By Plane:
The nearest airport is Leeds / Bradford Airport which is a 40 minutes' drive away
By Train:
The nearest train station is Snaith which is around a 10 minutes drive away.
By Car:
The main entrance to the Power Station is located on the road between the villages of Camblesforth and Drax, about one mile east of the A1041 Selby to Snaith road.
From York and the north, follow the A19 to Selby and then follow the A1041 towards Snaith for about 5 miles, turning left immediately after Camblesforth village.
From the south join the M62 and follow directions for Hull. At junction 36 turn on to the A614. At the first roundabout take the second exit on to the A645 signposted Drax. At the next roundabout take the first exit signposted Selby and the Site Entrance is approximately 150 metres on the right.
By Bus:
There are numerous bus stops within a short walking distance

Camping and Accommodation
Camping is available but needs to be pre-booked. There are also a number of hotels nearby to the event that are all listed on our website.
