Thanks Edward - I have no intention of being either one - I made the enquiry half in jest and half in earnest - just asking - y'know I am very curious - to know how people see things
I find so much advantage in using this forum and others to "chat" sure so long as no one minds a question or two

Lord Edward McChimpson Says
In quite the politest of ways
I did not do it
I shall not rue it
It has just been one of those days

Dear Edward - If I wrote a post and asked you not to monkey about - or not to Ape someone's style do you think that would count as a Racist comment - no offence intended I am just askin'

Thanks Patti - I was feeling left out from a lack on "no" votes - but there is nothing like being deleted by Amazon to put a smile on my face.

Well thank you Bearman - I had a copy of the post you made before it was deleted - may I please point out your combo of signs and letters spelled something the Caretakers would not like
Even a Bear can get a smacked paw and the Caretakers are getting more vigilant

Having been off line for the long weekend, I was very disappointed to see what has been happening here - in an attempt to preserve the good nature of this forum, can I suggest that anyone on the receiving end of a negative comment takes the following actions:
1 - ignore it
2 - if offended, click on "ignore this customer"
3 - never ever respond negatively

I love a good arguement, and have the verbal dexterity to rip anyone a metaphorical new @r$ehol£, but the cooking forum is a place of food, recipes and happy banter. That's what I love about it and that's why I (and I suspect everyone else) keep visiting as regularly as I can. Lets keep it this way. Rising to the bait leads to the alternatives seen in the kindle, religion and other forums.

Stick with us Stu - this will pass as all things pass and do not go away -

I think what I meant was that it is posters from other forums that are posting negative votes, it is not our dear friends on here, the food and cooking forum.xxx

We are inclined to consider that a charming compliment - we advocate of course the use of a Royal We.
It is a good thing to be appreciated - Pixie I think I agree with Stu and I am sure you do too

C'mon Stu - they could so easily be just one or two peeps with multiple accounts - this I was told by an acquaintance from the Amazon Customer Services - that person also said Amazon C/S accepts Critique from its Customers. Well now they have some - I drew C/S to notice the difference between Comment and Spite - and another Difference between Contribution and Disruption. I note they have taken stuff on board - from me and will likely do so in the future
