After looking and seeing that The Walking Dead and Dr.Horrible are available on Kindle (not the Fire, one of the old school ones, between the original and the touch) and I was wondering how good/bad they are and if they are worth a purchase?
I've read them before but wanted my own copy and didn't know if digital was the way to go?Kindle, 6" E Ink Display, Wi-Fi, Black

I read these the first time around (must be about 35 years ago!) and wanted to read them again on on a handheld device. I had tried the odd scanned download but was left disapointed. I saw a kindle version of the cursed earth dredd series and decided to give it a try. I have got a kindle paperwhite and the kindle app on an ipad (gen 1). The kindle method of letting you double tap to zoom in on a panel and then swipe to move to the next panel works very well and feels very natural. However the kindle paperwhite is much too small to be able to read a lot of the text and I think amazon should make it clear that these comic formats are not suitable for a kindle paperwhite. I then tried the comic on my ipad kindle and it was great, I had no problems reading the text and it was a great reading experience.

In summary, do not try and read this on a kindle tpaperwhite as the accessibility is poor, but it works well on an Ipad kindle app. I haven't got a kindle fire so I cannot comment on that experience.

It also looks like there is a bug in the kindle paperwhite reader as the panels on the first page appear as small black rectangles when you zoom in on them.

This is free on the kindle today
Mutant Cinema: The X-Men Trilogy from Comics to Screen
I read part of it and it's pretty good. Especially for free.
