Hi Stuart. I love "Benidorm", it's probably my favourite comedy (apart from "The Inbetweeners") at the moment. My favourite character would have to be Madge - she's hilarious. I've been to Benidorm 3 times now, so like yourself I find myself recognising some of the places. It's just a pity that STV have decided to drop it from their viewing schedule and those of us north of the border have to watch it on ITV London (I usually end up forgetting that it's on)...thank god for ITV Player.

Loved the first series hate the second and the third is little better to watch.

Enjoy yourself Stuart. I'm off to Turkey in March, but hopefully I'll be going back to Benidorm next November.

Maybe it helps if you've been to Benidorm - I haven't.
I think it wants to be a cross between 'Phoenix Nights' and 'League of Gentlemen', but at times it's more like that old ITV warhorse 'Duty Free'. It's watchable - they've got some great guest stars coming up - but if this is now a flagship ITV show it doesn't say much for the station.

I think Benidorm is a gem with huge potential. I love all the characters, especially the leathery nan. Her sarcasm has me in stitches.

Absolutely brilliant! Haven't been to Benidorm yet but looking to go there in the new future. Unfortunately though there are no plans for a 4th season yet =[

Series 1, gold
Series 2, very good (Mel's singing, and more to the point, the family's faces, was the highlight out of the whole enterprise for me)
Christmas Special, ok, but like many Xmas specials, not up to scratch.
Series 3, hated ep 1, didn't bother with the rest.
