I know that you really want to buy the DVDs, but in the meantime, have you tried looking up the old Shooting Stars episodes from the first series on YouTube, welsh? At least you might be able to fill in any blanks in what happened next by watching them on there?...x

Pleasure...x
I'd try having a quick look on eBay first though, as I often buy stuff for well over half the price of Amazon on there and I also tend to find that the 'used' items are often in far better condition too.

Chris says:
at least there's a healthy torrent of all 8 series now. Though personally I only think the first 5 are worth bothering with, and only the first 3 are truly great.

Always bugged me that nothing of Ruby Wax's TV work has ever gone to DVD. I know she's one who divides people, but I thought she was brilliant. I liked Louis Theroux's stuff, but Rubes did it first, and better. Wrote a good book too.

why oh why have the BBC released the new shooting stars on dvd but none of the old ones ?!! what about marc lamarr !! what about the sweaty fox, johnny vegas and wil self ?!
come on sort it out......everyone watching the new ones will buy the dvd's , without question.....well I 'd love to anyway.....this is classic comedy and vic and bob have influenced loads of new comedies...like the mighty boosh for instance (which I also love ) but they were the originals.
