Chris says:
Back in 2002, ITV televised 'SHIPMAN' a docudrama based on the crimes of the convicted murderer Harold Shipman. It was aired over 2 or 3 episodes (I think) and the lead role was played by James Bolam. A DVD has never been officially released and I've been told that there are no plans to do so, or to give it a repeat showing. Does anybody know of where I can obtain a copy ? I appreciate that I will probably be looking for someone who has a video of the original airing and can copy it onto DVD.

I was thinking the same thing myself Timtim. Might be a better idea to open up a thread on Drama, Chris. :)

Who knows. After all, they've made musicals about Jack the Ripper and Sweeney todd.

This really shouldn't be on the comedy forum. Open a new thread elsewhere.

I couldn't agree with you more as I have opened a new thread entitled "Born To Kill Dr Harold Shipman" and this posting will be deleted from the comedy forum. How the subject managed to get there puzzled me. Having said that this could have been a genuine mistake made not knowing how to start a new thread on the subject. At the time this was the only link I could find which is why I have opened a new thread.

I didn't think it was possible for two people to have the same username. Bit dodgy isn't it? What am I missing?
