And about as good as politicians at facing the unpalatable (to them) truth.

Swap email addresses and talk to each somewhere other than this website - please.

Good suggestion Stargazer, I wonder if they will take any notice. I am half expecting you to get one of those 'who do you think you are' replies, but we can live in hope that finally sense will prevail.

Sou'Wester says:
You're maybe right, but the post itself is not idiotic. Those who self-promote outside of the MOA forum are breaking Amazon rules, spoiling these forums for ordinary customers and damaging the reputation of writers (particularly within self-publishing) who operate with some integrity.

I Readalot says:
I have to say it but you are the idiot Colonel. It is not a case of anyone calming down, Amazon have provided the MOA forum for authors to promote because all the discussions were getting swamped by self-promo. Rules are there for a reason, and this particular rule was brought in brought in because far too many SP authors were ruining these threads for other users (authors included) and unfortunately giving a bad name to SP in general. As for getting book sales this way, you are far more likely to find yourself black-listed.

And a rebel without a cause, obviously.

The cause is not to listen to you and quash your draconian rules.
