Has to go to 'Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus' as the heroes, in the finale, decide to use a trap thats already failed half way through the film! lol.

Another one is Airline Disaster where a Boeing 747 flies between city skyscrapers without getting a scratch. Thoroughly believable. Yeah right.

With a title like Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus, were you really expecting a cinematic blockbuster? Anything done by Asylum Studios must be taken tongue and cheek.

Some of the worst action films I have seen belong to Mr Steven Seagal. After his dynamic burst on to the movie scene, his rapid decline into direct to DVD madness followed. Have you tried watching Flight of Fury or Attack Force? truly dreadful.

I Am Omega [2007] [DVD]

This is without a shadow of a doubt the worst action film ever made.

Dr who in the 70's had a bigger budget.

Crank cant be the wprst action film ever, not when Crank 2 excists, believe or not that was even worse!

I actually like Crank and Gamer (Neveldine/Taylor films). They strike me as in the same high octane vain as the films written by Luc Besson, like The Transporter, all his Taxi films (French versions), Columbiana and District 13. I'd argue they're this generation's version of 80s films.

Actually that's a very good point. But without Crank there wouldn't have been Crank 2 so really Crank deserves more of the stick.

What about Universal Soldier ??? ... "you're discharged, Sarge" lol

I agree about the Expendables - it took a potentially great cast and ruined it by taking itself far too seriously. Expendables 2 was much, much better, however. Within the first 5 minutes of the film a helicopter had been blown up by throwing a motorbike at it, and that kind of set the tone

Most action films that have gone beyond their second sequel. Some examples:-
Good day to Die Hard (5)
Batman and Robin (4)
Star Wars Ep 1 TPM (prequel but 4th to be made)
Transporter 4 (doesn't exist yet but there's bound to be one)
