From the manufacturer
If you’re ever confronted with a ruined screw, then these screw removal pliers can quickly remove the problematic screw with ease!
Crafted in Japan, these innovative pliers have unique patented jaws which provide a firm grip on the screw head, thereby allowing you to simply twist the screw out (normal pliers would just slip off). The jaws can even grip & extract low-profile dome head screws as well as specialised & tamper-proof screws! The pliers have a slender nose for access into confined areas.
Watch the short product video (located in the gallery - top left of this page) to see how quick & effective these pliers are ...much easier to use than other screw removal tools (many of which require an electric drill).
Other Neji-Saurus plier styles available - see comparison chart below.
Neji-Saurus pliers have specially shaped jaws with vertical and arch-lined serrations, which results in NO slippage when twisting the screw out
(standard plier jaws typically only have horizontal grooves - therefore if you try to grip & twist a screw out, the pliers won't grip & will merely slip)
The Neji-Saurus pliers unique patented jaw groove arrangement means that the pliers will not slip off when you grip & twist a screw.
The PZ-58 Neji-Saurus pliers can even firmly grip screws with low-profile heads
(the jaws even allow a firm grip even on low profile screws + dome head screws)
Neji-Saurus pliers remove seized/rusted, specialised & even some anti-tamper screws
The PZ-58 pliers also have wire cutting jaws
Spring loaded grips (helps avoid hand fatigue)
Ideal for Tradesmen and use around the home (also on cars, bikes, motorbikes etc.).
Why are they called 'Neji-Saurus' pliers?!
Neji-Saurus pliers are crafted in Japan where 'Neji' means screw/fastener ...the 'Saurus' part comes from the jaws resemblance to a Dinosaur's strong gripping jaws...hence Neji-Saurus!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2025Colour Name: GreenVerified PurchaseTried the pliers for the first time today on a small wood screw that had been painted over and head stripped when trying to turn with a screwdriver. I was genuinely surprised at how easily they gripped and turned such a small screw head. For this one job alone they are worth the purchase.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 March 2025Colour Name: GreenVerified PurchaseWow - I wasn't expecting this to work as I had a threaded, smooth head rounded screw/bolt on the handlebar of my motorcycle that I could not get to budge and remove using all sorts of methods described by various google results. I wasn't expected these to work either but thought it was worth a go since I really didn't want to start drilling around the motorcycle handlebars.
The first time it didn't work, but second attempt I applied as much squeezing pressure as I could and with a bit of careful force the screw turned and I could remove it - amazing! The tool didn't slide around, it gripped perfectly on the very small area available to grip. Definitely living in my toolkit from now on - wish I'd ordered a pair sooner !
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2024Colour Name: GreenVerified PurchaseI rounded off the screw head using the wrong size screwdriver - yes I am too lazy to get a different one! Anyway, this got the screw out when other methods failed.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 February 2025Colour Name: GreenVerified PurchaseI tried everything for around 3-4 hours to get a stripped cross-head screw out; using wrenches, standard pliers, the "rubber band" drill method, and more, but none had any effect. I searched on amazon for specialist pliers and got this delievered next day on prime. Honestly the best feeling in the world when it worked immediately and the screw came out in about 30 seconds. One of the best tool purchases I've made and great knowing if I ever have a striped or difficult screw in the future I have a perfect tool to get it out quickly and easily.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2024Colour Name: GreenVerified PurchaseDoes what it says on the tin. Had a shower shelf that ended up with rusty screws. Couldn't use a screw driver as it couldnt get a grip. (threaded)
This however, had no such problem. Gripped very well. Have to use both hands to get it going but once it started, made mincemeat of the job.
Considering that it does the job & does it well, id consider it value for money. It's well designed too

Max RReviewed in Italy on 15 April 20225.0 out of 5 stars Ottima pinza per viti danneggiate o difficili da svitare.
Secondo me è un articolo consigliatissimo.
