The item arrived within a couple of days of the order in excellent condition and as described. Very impressive during these unusual times!
The two discs are remastered recordings of two of Mozart's masses and his Requiem which are accepted as really classical versions. The sound quality is typical Philips Records standard and the performances do not disappoint.
I am most satisfied and would certainly recommend this seller.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The Later Symphonies of Mozart are well known and have been performed by many artists. But few recordings excell over the rest. These certainly go at the top of the list, and they just happen to be on period instruments. John Eliot Gardiner is well versed in mozart's style and the music of the period. While many orchestras play mozart pretty, Gardiner gives these symphonys that extra measure of energy and excitement that is often lacking. This is truely a must-have collection and its a shame that it is no longer in production.
