I had just read the book and wanted to watch the film and was disappointed. Understandably they can't fit the whole book in, but the beginning felt rushed, a lot didn't even happen, it was in a strange order. Characters were not introduced for a while then their name would be said. Rainaldi was a main character in the book and was barely involved in the film. If watching without the book there was no idea for why any actions were taken or what the characters were supposed to be feeling. I'd suggest reading the book or watching the film without reading the book. Was disappointed.
Anyone giving this 4 or 5 stars has not read they book, they may think they have, but they probably read Rebecca and are getting confused. This is the most disappointing film of the year, don’t waste your time, it was nothing like the book, a bit dull and dragged on, can’t remember finishing it in one sitting. The ending was tripe, actors wooden.
