Product description

Synopsis

The Footballers' Factfile was launched seven years ago to provide a more informative who's who of English football than the basic listings supplied by the then well-established Guinness Who's Who. It quickly won the approval of the core market and the Guinness Who's Who was taken over by Headline and put out as the Playfair Who's Who which failed to pick up the necessary market and was subsequently discontinued. The Factfile has now become the definitive Who's Who of English football and it seems appropriate to adopt the new title which will now sit happily alongside The Cricketers' Who's Who in the Queen Anne Press list. The format has also been changed to A5, increasing the bulk of the book and making it feel more like a reference book. For football enthuslasts it will now be the same format as Rothmans and the popular Non-League Directory.
