It is difficult to rate this, because I was unable to use it. I wanted a card-reader to access some photos taken in 2003-5 and transfer them onto the computer. They are stored on SmartMedia cards, the format used in early digital cameras from Olympus and Fuji before they switched to XD. SmartMedia cards, though no longer in use, are not especially rare or obscure. But I should have read the long list of supported formats carefully rather than assuming that a gadget that 'is compatible with over 150 different memory cards' would have a SmartMedia slot. It doesn't. It is a very neat, small device with a pleasing matt finish, and it is inexpensive, so assuming it works (perhaps I make too many assumptions) and the cards you wish to access are the ubiquitous SD and mini SD, XD, CF, MS and variants, or a whole alphabet of tiny mobile cards, it is probably a good buy.
I am editing this review to add that the seller has been kind enough to contact me and to refund the purchase price. I acknowledge that I should have read the description of the item more carefully, so I regard this as very generous.
