    I had pretty decent equipment for adding VoiceOver to most of the videos that needed it. Occasionally I felt that the audio compared to some of my colleagues was never up to par to how they sounded, but their equipment was so crazy expensive, I decided it wasn't worth the cost. I recently decided that I really want to get extra serious about my videos and felt I wanted to spend a little more for a good mic. After watching a ton of reviews, I decided the Rode PodMic would fit my needs since it had both a USB and XLR output now.
    WOW! I can't believe how great it sounds! It really upgrades the overall video to a new level. It wasn't bad before at all and no one ever complained about the audio I had prior to getting this, but I personally feel it was worth every penny if you want to be serious about the overall quality of the sound of your production. I HIGHLY recommend this Rode PodMic AND the RODE boom mic arm is so sturdy and well made, you definitely get what you pay for. The lack of headaches with lesser quality stuff also made the expense so well worth it. I can now concentrate on my content and not worry about my sound quality or equipment not doing what I want it to do.

    I love this microphone which I use for podcasting, zooms and content creator and it does not disappoint at all. My last mic was the blue yeti which was good but in my opinion Rode is 2x better as it's more clear, better sounding and can handle loud outbursts without crackle
