At this value for money I couldn't ask for more.
The display has great, saturated colours with a good brightness to it. The resolution is brilliant and 1440p is perfect for this size display and the price range it’s at. 144Hz is noticeably better for gaming. Now for the cons. The speakers are unusable… I was never expecting a high end sound system but considering the monitors thickness (it’s quite thick for just a display) and the size of it I was expecting them to be okay for background game noise. My previous 24inch 1080p monitor had 100X better speakers than this, so this is quite a letdown. My least favourite thing about this monitor: The contrast and the blacks. I was expecting a 1000:1 contrast ratio, with the panel being IPS, so nothing amazing, but the blacks are considerably worse than my previous 1000:1 IPS display, and are noticeably grey even in daylight conditions, so don't expect particularly immersive gaming in this sense. The peak highlights are beautiful and the midtones are great but the shadows really offset this monitor’s impressiveness and I think this is one of the major downsides, thus this seemingly low price point. Overall the monitor is good, and what one should expect for spending this sort of money.

First, the bad...
When I researched monitors this one stood out with its low response time (1ms), Freesync and it came with HDMI and DP cables. I was ordering it on a Monday and it said it could be delivered the following day (Tues). So, I ordered it but when I got to the confirmation page page it said it wouldn't be delivered until Wednesday for some reason. This was annoying as I needed it for work and having read that it would arrive the following day I had already scheduled my workload. So I rescheduled work and awaited the delivery. On Tuesday I checked the delivery status and it confirmed that it would arrive on time on Wednesday. However, on Weds morning it suddenly said that it would not arrive until Thursday! I chatted with an Amazon support person who did not know what the delay was but confirmed that it would be arriving a day late and gave me an apology. This meant I lost a day's work/money and re-rescheduled the rest of my work accordingly... then it arrived about 14:30 on the Weds. I was pleased that I got it on the correct day but then had to re-re-reschedule my work making me look pretty disorganised. Also, it did NOT come with a DisplayPort cable like it clearly states in the description. I couldn't order one as that would delay my work again for another day so had to risk public transport and buy one locally, delaying my work further; Amazon did cover the cost of that however. Apologies for all of the detail but I wanted to make people aware of the fact that they probably should not rely on the delivery of this monitor for work (like I stupidly did).

The good...
The monitor is very easy to set up, is very sturdy, works brilliantly, is a quality build and going from 60Hz to 144Hz is one of the best decisions I have made (gaming wise). I upgraded my GPU recently and thought I would go to 144Hz to make the most of its power. The buttons on the side at the back are a bit fiddly but you get used to them. All I had to do to set the monitor up was turn on AMD Freesync and turn on 'Ultra Fast' response time. I have a Nvidia GPU but the Freesync works with it. I changed the refresh rate to 144Hz on my pc and I was good to go. GTA V, RDR2, Witcher III, BF1 and BFV all look amazing and the increased fps make them run super smoothly. The image is crystal clear (I changed the colours a bit to make them slightly brighter than the standard settings) and the only slightly niggle is that when the screen is totally black you do get the usual 'IPS glow' in the corners. But I love the monitor and would recommend it to anyone who wants to play 144Hz in 1080p. I have tried a friend's set up of 60Hz in 1440p and even though it's up to personal choice, this is the way to go for me.

I'm going on 12 months now with this monitor is very solid. Also moved it to 3 different locations already (desk to car through house to desk) without any issues arising. Super vibrant colors, zero delay, zero screen tearing, and very easy menu options. Games just look absolutely gergouse compared to my 75hz TL panel right beside it. It's night and day!

My only pet peeve is how you turn it off. You need to hold the power button for 4 seconds (when pc is on) to turn off the monitor. When the PC is off, a single push works. It won't effect my score because the screen itself is beautiful but that 4 seconds is super annoying. Still I'd definitely recommend.

For questions that arrise:
I keep my pc on 24/7 so when I push the power button on my monitor I expect it to turn off. Unfortunately I'm stuck waiting 4 extra seconds. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Owned a 24 inch ViewSonic monitor for 10 years with never a problem. I picked this up on cyber Monday just for the larger screen and felt bad sending my 24 inch to storage because there's nothing wrong with it to this day. Never heard of ViewSonic in 2011 when I bought that 24 inch which was for my only computer build and held through my next 2 pc's. I'd never buy another brand based on the success I've had with this brand. This monitor is larger and I'm just as happy so far as my first ViewSonic monitor. I can't speak to audio quality, I use separate speakers. I'm not a details expert so the settings out of the box work for me. I can say with 2 ViewSonics from 2011 to present day I've never had dead pixels. Picture is sharp and perfect for the gaming and browsing I do. I feel for those that have had negative issues but I can only fully recommend this monitor based on my 12 years of ViewSonic ownership.

Got 2 of these, and out of the box they look great. Easily assembled, and the mounts feel sturdy, Displayport Cables included

Out of the box, some of the settings are not defaulted to ON, such as FreeSync. That's OK...it is easy enough to turn it on. I also noticed that Windows 10 wasn't wanting to output at 144hz refresh, so I had to turn that on under the Advanced Display Settings.

Note that these are not HDR capable displays. Even in SDR they look great and don't appear to be too dark. Blacks look Black (not grey), and I do not notice any Halo effects around White objects on a Black Background (I use Dark Mode). Games look great on these monitors, even games that have Day/Night for example The Witcher 3.

The supplied mounts are pretty good. It doesn't feel like these are gonna fall over or anything. They have Height, Tilt, and Pivot. The mounts can be installed in a way that you can have a dual Vertical monitor setup with the top edges together thanks to the VESA mount attachment style of the mount. I do wish that there was a way to lock down your preferred height though.

In Horizontal orientation the Monitor can be as low as 3.25" (at bottom edge of screen)/2.25" (at the bottom of chassis) or as high as 7.875"(at bottom edge of screen)/ 6.875" (at bottom of chassis) with the stock mounts. In Vertical Orientation, the bottom of the edge of the screen can be 1" from the desk.

With Dual monitors, there is a 5/8" gap from Viewable Areas between the two monitors. with them side by side.

I don’t play competitive fps so I couldn’t tell you how it fairs in that area, but its very bright right out of the box and the picture is crisp. You can fiddle with the color/picture quality in the menu as well. Setup is easy and frankly the monitor and base look nice. The base is just a bit bigger than a 60% keyboard, so its great for area conservation and makes a neat little place to put your keyboard when you need some writing room or whatever. If you’re looking for a cheap but good monitor, or just getting into pc gaming then this is a good monitor
