Product description
THE NEW STUDIO ALBUM FROM YES GUITARIST STEVE HOWE & HIS TRIO FEATURING THREE COMPOSITIONS CO-WRITTEN WITH BILL BRUFORD. Esoteric Antenna are delighted to announce a new studio album by the Steve Howe Trio, New Frontier. This excellent new studio album from the trio founded by the celebrated Yes guitarist Steve Howe follows on from the 2008 studio album The Haunted Melody and the live album Travelling. Steve Howe does "easy listening". This is a great album. Steve's son does great jazzy drumming throughout. Easy recommendation.

Pavel K KepezhinskasReviewed in the United States on 5 February 20215.0 out of 5 stars A jazzy side of the great Steve Howe
This is another excellent album from the Steve Howe Trio with great sounds, impeccable song writing and fantastic arrangements. The guitar maestro is at home with fluid tunes. mood changes and varying tempo. A plethora of guitar sounds and staccatos. but all within unique harmonies that Mr. Howe is so capable off. Some passages are reminiscent of the great "Mood for a day", others are outside the regular progressive repertoire and remindful of guitar genii of Jim Hall, Joe Pass and Larry Coryell. Nethertheless, there is always one and only Steve Howe. Dylan Howe on drums and Ross Stanley on Hammond provide vivid and highly cultural background for the distinctive maestro's sound.
