I’ve been meaning to fit one of these for a while now and finally got round to it.

Installation on my Somfy Rollixo RTS control panel was straight forward (for anyone with the same panel the switch wires go into terminals 10 & 11 on the panel).

Instead of using the supplied 240v to 5v USB adapter, for power I utilised the 24v DC output on my Somfy control panel along with a 24v to 5v USB adapter purchased from Amazon (search DC-DC converter, 1pc DC-DC Step Down Adapter 12V/24V to USB 5V 3A Converter Regulator Cable Wires for Car Audio, Radio, Monitor, LED Display, LCD TV, Fan, Solar Power Generation https://amzn.eu/d/37TZFh6 on Amazon). I wired this all to a separate enclosure to keep everything neat.

As I already own several other Meross products set up was simple with the app guiding you through pairing and initial setup. Operation is very simple and it all works flawlessly. No more missed deliveries!

My only complaint would be is that the supplied screws used to fasten the door sensors are made of very soft metal. I had planned to use the supplied adhesive pads to secure the door sensors, but due to the curved face of my roller door the screws were required. Even though I pre drilled the correct sized pilot holes, the head of the first screw sheared off leaving me with the task of drilling the remainder of it out of my roller door.

Other than that I would 100% recommend.

What can be said but simply excellent piece of kit! Truly shocked at what this little box of tricks can do for such a small financial outlay.
Biggest issue for me was my Garage door control wasn't on the recognised list with Meross so I reached out to their customer services and prompt replies returned, albeit wrong to start with. I was advised to wire into a certain section ( the mains in connection!!! ) which I questioned several times and was told it was right. I asked for a supervisor or higher to look at the advice and yep, I was right. Now armed with what I felt was the right info I promptly ordered from Amazon and the MSG100 arrived next day.
Somewhat nervously I went through each step to connect to the Internet etc until the time came to actually connect to where I'd been advised. See photo ...door control and the com / imp connection. Doesn't matter which way round you wire the blue/brown wire although I did wire brown to imp / blue to com. Once done, a press of the screen and hey-presto the door opened, another press it closed .....yep, it worked on my Roller door with an Ansa RS-1 control box ....amazing!
Played about a bit learning how to use the app, added Alexa integration which works very well .....even managed to add a Smart Things widget on my galaxy watch and can use my watch.. ..I'm now set up with phone access and Alexa access all for less than £36 and a few hours fiddling.
Connecting the door stop electrics was a faff being a roller door but some small pieces of wood to align them correctly, stuck on with Gorilla glue has solved this issue.
So, bit of a long comment but if like me you searched the net to try and find out if this was compatible with an Ansa RS-1 box ....hope my photos and write up might help!
100% highly recommend the MSG100....
