Good quality boards. The substrate is quite rigid and the double-sided, through-hole plating is nice. It is easy to cut cleanly with only a pair of diagonal cutters. The sizes include span a good range for small projects.

The only thing I found a bit annoying is it seems to wick solder through to the other side and I end up with a blob or a drip. It is avoidable if you know it is prone, but you have to be careful. I have not had this happen with any other board in 30 years. I can only speculate it is due to the hole size being larger than most pins.

What do surface mount people use as an equivalent? (Personally, I'm old, and hate and abhor surface mount technology. But they can't all be buying computer controlled component insertion machines.

And if you happen to find some set up for DIL sockets, I'm interested. I have some bakelite ones like that, but they're a bit fragile.
