5.0 out of 5 stars I would gladly read everything this author writes 26 Jun. 2017
By Dingy Deb - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I cannot describe how intensely I feel as I read through the perils of Jeanne Delpech and the separate adventures of her husband, Jacob. It has become important to me that these two are reunited which shows how this author weaves such an intricate story. Still, the two are on separate continents and despite a more than adequate ending, we are left with a minor cliffhanger. This story flows with traveling, danger, murder & malice, as well as God's grace and favor.
5.0 out of 5 stars A Tale of Persecution and Human Triumph 22 Jun. 2017
By Allen Simmons - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I received an advance copy of this book. Having read and enjoyed the first in this series I was looking forward to the second and was not disappointed. This is a tale of great courage and humanity in the midst of persecution for one's beliefs. Paul Monk deftly taps into the great range of human experience and powerful emotions as he relates with considerable narrative aplomb the trials and tribulations of the Heugenots captured in the Delpec family. A must read.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read 23 Jun. 2017
By jo kolb - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the second book in mr monks trilogy about the persecution of protestants in france. As a history buff I was fascinated by the way the story evolved.
Jacob and Jeanne come alive in this novel as we learn of their family and friends.
This book is well worth the time it will take you to read it. I am anxiously awaiting the final book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Read! 27 Jun. 2017
By Jill - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The trials and adventures of Jeanne and Jacob Delpech continue in Book 2 of the Huguenot Connection series. Mr. Monk does an awesome job of capturing and keeping the reader's attention during the book. If you enjoy historical fiction, especially early Christian history, I would highly recommend you take the time to read these books.

Well written and enthralling account of the historic struggles of the Huguenots. This second installment did not disappoint. Would recommend this series to any of my fellow history lovers and my book loving friends in general.
