Review: I didn't think it would get better, but it did!
Book 3 of the Ruby Robbins Sexy Space Odyssey, Saving the Space Pirate, is the exciting end of Ruby and Kill's adventure. I am not going to go into a lot of detail as this is a continuation of Book 1 and 2, Rescued by the Space Pirate and Stolen by the Space Pirate. You definitely need to read the first two books.
Saving the Space Pirate had a lot of action as Ruby, Kill and Zak finish Ruby's mission to save an Earth girl (aka Ruby's boss' daughter). This book had a lot of action (with laser guns and such) and it definitely picked up the pace for the hot and heavy romance between Kill and Ruby. I only gave it a 1 for fetish because I thought the sex slave, potential alien sex and piercing might be considered a fetish (I don't know - is alien sex a fetish?) but none of these aspects were very heavy in this installment.
The book is very funny (none of these characters take themselves too seriously - which is my kind of Space Pirates!). Nina Croft embraces the campy aspect of the book's title and gives the reader a fun romance and a great adventure! It was fast-paced and a quick read.
This book is a great follow-up to the other two books! It was very satisfying! Now I want a Zak, the blue alien, to get his own series!!
