My next adventure, Teton Season Of Promise by Peggy l Henderson, took me to the Teton Mountains and characters I love. I knew this was going to be an awesome trip, because no one writes adventure as well as Peggy L. Henderson does. Well written, wonderful characters, and a romance you are happy to follow to a HEA. As always, happy tears at the end.
Third adventure! The Gunsmith's Bride by Kristin Holt. Kristin writes the sweetest romances. Loveable, sensitive heroes and sweet but not weak heroines. This one has two romances, one heroine I wasn't sure about, but ended up loving at the end. Two heroes, two heroines, a very enjoyable read.
Forth adventure! Hannah's Hero by Margery Scott. I have read her books before, always contented to snuggle in and read hers. I enjoyed this one so much, loved the hero and heroine. Filled with romance, angst and a little suspense, made it a fun adventure to a HEA.
The fifth and last adventure was Mail Order Memories by Kirsten Osbourne. A very nice way to end the entire series. I enjoyed the story, the hero and heroine, both very sweet. A Sweet romance with a surprise that I didn't expect and made me very happy at the end.
I loved and enjoyed each of these novellas, all written by favorite authors. All sweet, no sexual content other than a kiss or two. JudyE
I am reviewing Peggy L. Henderson's Teton Season of Promise -
Caleb and his friends are commissioned to help an adventurer check out the new wilderness that will become Yellowstone National park. He escaped a harsh life in an orphanage only to be adopted by a backwoodsman and his family who lived below the Tetons. Caleb thinks that it will be a typical trip of babysitting easterners, but before he knows it, his is in for an adventure he never thought was possible.
Oliva is a cook assistant who's boss wants more than a good tasting meal. In order to avoid her boss's advances, Olivia signs on with an expedition to survey the vast Yellowstone Wilderness only to come face to face with the expedition's scout who was once the little boy who abandoned her at the orphanage they lived at years ago. Can she learn to forgive him and will this reunion bring a new start for both of their lives?
Peggy is a master at making novellas feel like full-length novels. Her fast character development helps the reader get lost in the story. Teton Season of Promise has characters from her Yellowstone, Teton, and Wilderness Brides Romance Series in this wonderful novella, and yet, you do not need to have ever read any of them to love this story. If you have read any or all three of these series, this one only enriches the wonderul story line of the Yellowstone/Teton region that Ms. Henderson has so masterfully put together!
soon I will read the stories from the other authors.
