In the uplands of the North Eastern England, Tom and Kay Hutchinson set out on a near impossible task: to breed the perfect Swaledale Sheep. Was so excited to get my copy - and they were kind enough to ship it to me in the states. Having lived for a short time on a family farm in Wisconsin, it was a delight to see the day to day really isn't much different there in the UK. Beautifully crafted, honestly shared story of a family making life day by day on a small farm - oh, and, of course.... I do love the sheepies!
