OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!

I will start this review by saying that I read this book about 2 weeks ago and it is STILL all I can think about. I do not re-read books, and I am about to re-read this one if the next book does not come out soon.

I didn't really know what to expect from this, but I have a slight addiction to men kissing (tumblr and instagram are best to satisfy that addiction in case you wondered) so I figured I would like it.

I did not like it.

I MOTHERDUCKING LOVED IT!

(Did a Simon Cowell there, didn't I!)

Okay, so I can gush for a bit or I can write a 'proper' review. Seeing as I haven't gushed like a weirdo in a long time, I think I'll go with that.

THIS BOOK IS.... hilarious, cute, sexy, hot, steamy, real, sweet, funny, 'put your hand down your pants' worthy, think about for days after,  tell all your friends about, can't put down, begging for more, missing the characters, wanting to be Frances, wanting the next book SO DAMN BAD! It's all of that for me!

I've read M/M before but not like this. The kind I've read, they've all known they're gay or one has and it's been more gun ho sort of thing. They know what they're doing basically. But you get to go on this journey with Chris and Jeremy and it makes it so much better! It's so enjoyable to read and ugh I just love it so much.

If every book I read this year is like this I'd be so damn happy.

Seriously, I want books exactly like this please. More. Of. Thisssssss.

5 stars. OBVS!

Well what a surprise!

I took a punt on this based on a blogger's recommendation and enjoyed this M/M story much more than I was expecting to. I have read a couple of M/M books before, but they have been more based around man-whoring rather than a monogamous homosexual relationship.

Christopher and Jeremy are long-time friends, who suddenly and gradually step over the line from friends to lovers. Their sexual experimentation and the way they question their feelings and desires is well-written and was very believable.

I loved the humour and was a little shocked at how much of a turn on their bedroom antics were (as a heterosexual female!!!). The only aspect I was a little confused by was the apparent obsession with the significance of wearing or not wearing socks and the meaning behind it??!!

Nevertheless I am looking forward to the sequel.

Thought it was such a refreshing book and both Christopher and Jeremy were such great characters and I can't forget to mention Christopher's crazy mother who should have a book dedicated to her.

Crossing Swords is a M/M Read and is the debut book for Mixie Edwards and what a book we got!!
This for me felt like a real story, i know some may have a problem with the language used, i didn't though they spoke like everyday teenagers. The family's acted like normal everyday family's, real life isn't all sunshine and rainbows ;-) it was an easy book to connect to. No i'm not a gay teenage boy buy i have been a teenager and i remember how different generations opinions were and still are too mine. For me love is love as long as no one is getting hurt who am i to judge.

So with that being said this was an Hilarious book, i could quote this book with so many moments. Honestly every page kept me turning over to see what will come next from these two best friends. Mixie really did write an amazing book i loved the friendship and chemistry between Christopher and Jeremy. Hearing their inner thoughts of the struggles and feelings they were going through was refreshing and authentic. And i want more from them and from Mixie Edwards, the end of this book was like the rest two words Christopher's mum!! Brilliant Book.

All I can say is What a debut book this is everything you want in a m/m romance.
I read this book in one sitting I was so hooked it had humour hot steamy sex and a brilliant story what's not to love about it

Christopher and Jeremy have been best friends since they was 9 years old and have shared most of life's experiences together but never the one they are about to embark on.

Splitting up with his girlfriend after she cheats on him Chris turns to "J" as his support and after a playful drunken fight turns into a kiss this is where the story begins to really start.
They are both heterosexual men so why did they both enjoy it so much and why do they wanna do it again?
All I'm going to tell you is you will have to read this book to find out. it will have you laughing out loud at so many points but most of all it will have you gripped to the end wanting more.
I really liked how this story was written and how the author told it so well the only thing I dislike if anything was it ended too quick!!
Let's hope we will have more from Chris and Jeremy in a book 2 maybe
Well done Mixie.
