It seems I've found yet another great author and a fantastic MC series in the Notorious Devils books. This is the fifth book in a series I have yet to read, and I WILL be reading them!
Regardless of it being the fifth book, it was easy to fall into it without having read the others.
I was so greedy to read about MadDog and Mary-Anne that I ignored my wifely duties and stayed up ,until my eyes practically bled, so I could follow all the no nonsense, ruthless, sexy behaviour of MadDog and all the other members of the Notorious Devils. Superb!
The writing just poured off the pages and into my heart. I love the gruff I-would-die-for-you love that these men seem to have. The loyalty and strength of these bikers fills me with love (and lust).

When Mary-Anne needs to escape her boyfriend's clutches she calls the only man who will help her with no questions asked. MadDog Duhart is an original President of the MC group, meaning he is in charge of every single chapter of their clubs. Hot! He may be 30 plus years older than Mary-Anne but boy can that man 'get the job done'. He knows what he's doing with a woman's body. #HOT
From their first sight of each other they have an attraction sizzling. He's a real bear of a man who is not used to having to consider anyone else's feelings, but he is totally besotted.
I'm in love, yet again.
The drama that happens is just so edge of your seat. A fabulous read.
I recommend you introduce yourselves to a bit of the Notorious Devils ASAP!

This is the fourth book in this great series, and each one can be read as a standalone. This is the story of Mary-Anne, who has been living in an abusive relationship for awhile, and once she decides to escape, phone Maddog to help rescue her. Despite the age difference between them Maddog takes Mary-Anne back to his MC and makes her his property.
This author has done a great job in writing this series, and I cannot wait to read more. I recommend this authors work for all MC lovers.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Hum, not sure what to say about this book. This is book 4 in the series, but the first that I have read, my honest opinion is that it can be read as a standalone, but for the best experience I’d say to read them all in order, that way you’ll know who’s who and what relationships are already in play.

Okay so this is Max aka Maddog and Mary-Anne’s story. Max is the president of the Notorious Devils and Mary-Anne is the sister of a ‘brother’ from another chapter, confused yet? Don’t be the author does a great job at keeping the story straight. Okay I’ll be honest, I don’t have a problem with age differences…most of the time, however in this book he was 60 and she was 27, I know the heart wants what it wants, and I eventually got on board, but I did find it all a little hard to digest, and I could see why they received the reaction they did.

So this is your typical MC type book, lots of alpha males and crude, rude language, but it fits, I mean how many bikers would you expect to be all pink and fluffy! Maddog is an alpha male personified, he is ‘rough and ruthless’ and at 60 still handsome and fit. Mary-Anne was too much of a wishy washy heroine for me. She wined and questioned everything no matter how many times she had been told or reassured of her place, and she certainly acted like a child on more than one occasion. Yes she had a tough childhood and then a less than perfect relationship, but she told everyone she was strong etc. but then didn’t show any of that strength, well except for on one occasion, but no more about that! There isn’t too much outside drama in this book, but the couple create enough of their own to keep the readers interest.

Overall this was an easy read and if you like the MC genre this book and series should make your TBR list.
