Hot Alpha Male- check
Dirty mouth- check
Sassy, sweet heroine- check.
Everybody needs a Remington Bomar in their life, the man was bossy, protective and damn right swoon worthy.
"Gotta stop lookin' at me like that babe. I'm trying to have a conversation with you but I'm only a man and you're tempting me to forget my manners and take the kiss you're all but beggin' for baby"
*holy wet panties*
When Rachel Grant hears something she shouldn't off, she goes off in search of Remy. Looking for the one thing, that no one has ever given her protection. She hasn't had the easiest life. Her father is in prison, her mom passed away from Cancer. Her half brother Craig, the one person she should be able to rely on, she can't.
Remy left town 10 years ago, now he is back. Trying to right the wrongs he made, by leaving his brothers behind. He had his reasons and they were valid ones, although It doesn't stop him from feeling guilty.
Remy promises to protect Rachel with everything he has. Oh god the man was so damn hot, and he never let anyone hurt her.
"I don't know that I can let you go without a fight, even now, but I know without a doubt that once I have you, I won't ever be able to let you walk away from me"
When the truth about everything comes out, the couple will have to fight, with everything they have to survive.
I never wanted this book to end, i didn't want to say goodbye to Remy and Rachel. They were such a sweet couple together. They needed each other something fierce. I can't wait to read any other books in this series.
Rachel Grant lives every day in fear, scared that her brother will figure out her secret. And that had her fearing for her life because you never ever cross the Bomars.
Rachel needs help. Somebody she can trust. Somebody strong. Somebody that can protect her...and she knows just the guy. When she makes eye contact with Remy Bomar, she sets something off in him that he didn't think possible.
But what happens to them when the truth comes out? Could it destroy everything and everyone around them?
In fairness, at the beginning I wasn't sure I liked either Remy or Rachel. However, as the book continued, I found that I did actually really like them. At times in the book I wanted to scream out loud, and that's good because I enjoy a book that makes me want to do this, that stirs my emotions.
The way the author writes is easy to follow along, and the book is enjoyable. Violence, sex and strong language is used throughout this story. It's the third in a series and whilst they can be read alone, it's advisable to read in order. This was a good story, and I will be reading more from this author.
A Book Lover's Emporium
Both the hero and heroine have troubled pasts, that have left them damaged and seeing how they overcome this and grow both as individuals and as a couple was a huge part of this wonderful book. Remy is one of the sweetest heroes I have read about, and yet he is tough and sexy enough to make you melt too. Both he and Rachel are believable, likable and well written characters.
This book is longer than many contemporary romances and this allowed it to reach depths that many others don't. The emotion between Remy and Rachel was wonderfully portrayed, as was the love and support of family. I haven't read any work by Jess Bryant before but will certainly be catching up on Colt and Cash's stories. Personally I'm hoping Ford will be the next hero, he deserves a happy ending.

Jess Bryant is one of my favorite indie authors! You will not be disappointed when you read one of her books!
I loved Colt & Cash, I really did but Remington, that man is by far my favorite.
I figured out pretty early on in No Fear that Remy was going to the top of the Bomar list, he's different than his brothers, in a way he's sacrificed more and while their all protective of family I feel he took it above and beyond to protect those he loved.
He's come home after ten years away and is back to once again protect a family member.
When a frightened Rachel comes to him for help his life is about to change in ways he didn't think were possible.
Rachel's scared for her life, she's lived through hell the past few years and has a fear of men. Well all except Remington Bomar. There's something about him that calms her, makes her feel safe, so when she finds out information that involves both his and her family she runs straight to him for protection, something he offers with no question the moment he sees her.
From there Remy continues to fight for his family, to protect his brothers and now his woman. She's got secrets though and one may be a deal breaker once it comes out.
I can't say it enough, Remy & Rachel are my absolute favorites, no Bomar will be able to top them!
If you haven't read the first two books in the series you may be piecing things together as you go along, while this can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading this series from the beginning, it builds so much of the back story that I feel is important with this family based series.
