This was a bit different to the usual mayhem and chaos following Jennings, but was still a page turning storyline . Very impressive how the author makes you feel so much for all the characters involved.

Another captivating thriller. Great characters, great storyline, fantastic twists and turns. I hated finishing it. Full stars to the book. I am now hooked on these books and I think anyone who reads them, will be hooked too. Please Richard keep writing Jaxon Jennings thrillers.

I came across Richard C Hale and Frozen Past, the first of the Jaxon Jennings thrillers, in June 2014 and I was really blown away with it, since then I have become a huge fan of Richard Hale and all of his novels and have them read before the ink has time to dry. Sins of the Daughters is the forth book in the series.

So much has happened since I originally met Jaxon Jennings and can't believe that this is only book 4 as I feel I have a life time of memories with him, an old friend that tragedies seem to follow. Jaxon is now very much a doting father and understandably very protective of his family but his world and sanity are shattered when an old adversary is released from prison, after serving 18 years, and now a technicality makes him a free man. A free man that lives not too far from Jaxon and a new wave of murders that are the identical unique calling card of Reynolds Maubry. Jaxon is determined to take him down this time so that he stays down.

Richard Hale often plays with his readers and if you have read his books you will find characters playing cameo roles in other novels too. His compelling characters also make for compelling reading. If you have read this series you will understand why Jaxon can be brutal at times, as there has always been a need to protect those he loves, an haunting lesson that will never go away.

I wish to thank Richard C Hale for including me in his Street Team. It is a privilege to be part of them. I have chosen to leave this review.

Very good story line, kept my interest and as usual with Jaxon a great thriller. Written very well and I can get into the characters and become part of the book. I like this author's imagination and look forward to the next book of the Jason Jennings series.

Richard C Hale has done it again! This latest story featuring Jaxon Jennings is a real page turner. I read it in one sitting, as I just could not put it down. Richard's writing style just makes you need to know what happens next, so each time you get to the end of a chapter you cannot leave it there. You have to go on! This character really has grown with each new book, and he keeps getting better. He is believable, human, real, fallible, but you just know he will get the job done. Great storyline, excellent characters and hugely entertaining. I love Jack Reacher, but I am getting to love Jaxon Jennings just as much. Cannot wait for the next book. Thank you Richard and keep them coming.

At long last Jaxon Jennings has returned in the latest Richard Hale offering. This book is full of great characters, mostly carried on from the previous books in the series, but also one or two new ones, and I loved the interplay between the characters.
This book has a very complex plot, and you do need to pay attention to keep track of all the characters and their connections to get the best from it, but it is worth the concentration as it leads you you on a twisting, turning journey, with several murders on the way, before coming to a quite unexpected climax, and of course there is the expected dose of mayhem from a more liberated and grumpy Jennings.
Another well crafted, exciting and 'unputdownable' book from a very clever experienced author, it certainly maintains his track record!
I did receive a free advance copy of this book, and I have voluntarily reviewed it.

This is another fantastic book from Richard C Hale, I got hooked on his books after reading Frozen Past. I could hardly put this book down. It is the 4th book in the Jason Jennings series and has a complex story line following several characters, pay attention and you definitely won't be disappointed. It has some great twists along the way and of course murder. If you have never tried any of these books then I put highly recommend them. It's nice to read something so well written and that has you hooked instantly. I would also like to thank Richard for having me be a part of the Street Team. I can't wait for the next book.
