About the Author

Helmut Richard Götting hat eine exzellente Bildung genossen und an der Universität Tübingen studiert, war an der Uni Freiburg Doktorand, schrieb im oberbayerischen Forschungszentrum der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrt DLR seine herausragende Diplom- und die Doktorarbeit, führte mehrere zweimonatige Afrika-Forschungsreisen durch und schaute nebenbei in die Mündungen von Putschistengewehren; erhielt angesehene DLR und DFG (Deutsche Forschungs- Gemeinschaft) Stipendien, promovierte magna cum laude zum Dr. rer. nat., forschte an der amerikanischen Elite-Universität Stanford für ein paar Jahre, lebte ein Vierteljahrhundert im kalifornischen ’Silicon Valley’; war zehn Jahre Schüler bei einem chino-amerikanischen Tai Chi Meister; seit seiner Rückkehr nach Deutschland lastet auf ihm ein Traum, diesem Land wieder zu entkommen. Seine Kreativität ergibt sich aus harter Arbeit. Als verantwortungsbewußter Schriftsteller hat er neben zwei bekannten wissenschaftlichen Büchern über ’Fernerkundung’ ein investigatives Buch zur US- amerikanischen Spionage an Universitäten in englischer Sprache veröffentlicht (vgl. Deutsche Nationalbibliothek) und ist jetzt erstaunlicherweise auch Poet.
