This is an AWESOME toy gun!!! I bought this for my niece to play around with inside the house and she absolutely loves it! The gun is easy to figure out, as you have to push the nerf dart into the barrel and then pull back on the orange spring trigger and you're ready to go! The barrel lights up fluorescent purple and the dart literally shoots out of the gun towards your target! The gun also makes a laser-shooting sound when not firing the dart and comes with demo batteries but at some point you'll have to change the batteries if your child wears the demos out. It is a powerful shot and precautions and instructions should be given to young ones about not shooting animals and people at a close range as I'm sure the dart stings. Tons of fun!!! Two thumbs enthusiastically up!!!

My 10 yr old son is obsessed with Star Wars and nerf guns ( I think we have at least 30 nerf guns... sigh) But he really wanted something that was the size of a blaster and these are perfect. I haven't given them to him yet because they are a Christmas present but I am very excited to and I know he will just love them. They were a good price too.

Great concept, but the glow in the dart darts are very flimsy and easily bent/squished in the clip, which leads to the gun constantly jamming. I wish that the dart loading system was better thought out, or the darts were made with more durable foam.
