This is without doubt up there in my top 10 of best tech bought by me in 2017. I bought and tried two generic BT controllers which stated "for use with Android" (the stick is based around the Android OS), neither worked and were of rubbish quality (real rubbish) so when this arrived I was amazed at the quality. There is a feel of solidity to this controller, which was lacking in the other two, and every button and knob feels really attached with no slack or spare movement to be found. You can see straight out the box that time and effort has been spent making sure that this is right, you even get batteries with it.
It's really easy to pair with the stick as well and has no flaws that I can find despite having spent several hours tinkering about with it. My only real bugbear is the quality of free games available for use with a controller but 99% of that is due to the processing power of the firestick itself and has been commented on before.
Being based on Android it's very easy to sideload apps onto the stick as sometimes the Amazon store doesn't contain what you want but Google play does, the controller will still work regardless of the place you download apps from, as long as they're .apk files it doesn't care.
I would buy this controller again despite it's price tag, I pay the same for an Xbox One controller so why not, it also doubles as a remote so you are getting 2 for the price of 1...I like it....

This product is useless
without a doubt i hate the fact that i wasted money on this.
1. it looses connection all the time
2. playing Amazon games is a waste of time because a lot of the games are not set up for the controller
and so it just a very very bad experience
3. if you press pause and go off to make a cup of tea when you come back the programme you
have paused will be playing again
4. it eats batteries for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Please spare yourself don't bother

It also has voice input and a headphone socket, but I could not get the latter to work with Amazon Fire TV Stick.

A very good game control with voice activation although after finish with the controller recommend take batteries out of unit. This is due to battery drain no on/off switch on the unit.
