Does quite well, my husband uses it, and he does the cooking!! The four cups that come with it are useful if making couple of drinks or so, no need to transfer from machine to glass, therefore saving on washing up!! He has found it successful for a variety of things, sauces, drinks, chopping, making relish etc. etc. Middle of range price, and probably as good as other items that cost more and do look similar!!

We were searching for a good mixer, this one came highly recommended by many friends. It comes with 4 cups and that really helps when mixing some alcoholic drinks with friends.
It’s dead simple to use and the only pitfall of use is the noise it makes, it’s very noisy but it’s only ever for a minute or so.
The box came with a recipe book which comes with many great ideas.
I’ve given 3 stars for the easy to clean as without a brush it’s a bit of a nuisance to clean all the juice etc out. But we bought a dishwashing brush and it’s made the situation a lot easier!

Leaks, Doesn’t Blend, and Broken

This product started off great but over a few weeks and months I realized what a mistake I made.

First, the cups are very small and you can only fill them up part way. If you fill it up all the way the liquid will be forced out the sides.

Second, the blade and seal around the blade cause liquid to leak out the bottom into the base. Sometimes it’s the liquid from the cup and other times if the blade piece is wet the rubber will leave this disgusting black liquid both inside the cup and in the base.

Third, it’s nearly impossible to clean. You have to somehow drip liquid down through the base to clean it and it doesn’t really work.

Fourth, it struggles to blend frozen fruit and it’s impossible to blend anything without it being bathed in liquid. I tried making hummus with it and it didn’t blend at all. Even making thick protein drink it struggles.

Fifth, after using this for some time it finally broke. The plastic bit in the base that spins the blade shattered.

It’s really not worthwhile.

Smoothie maker, not a blender

Blender is ok but after some months of use decided to review it. It’s good enough to use as a juicer and soft things. I tried to make a Thai curry paste but it didn’t have enough grunt for the lemon grass. Tried to whip egg and sugar and the attachment got really hot before the eggs were even done. The ingredients don’t circulate very well either and required me to shake the entire unit as it blended. I would opt in for a proper full size blender next time. It’s really only good for making smoothies and simple blends.
