The Frisky Fox Plus 20" QUAD-CUT self-propelled, 4 in 1 is fitted with the heavier duty Wolf 'Dynamic' OHV 4 stroke petrol engine, a newly designed deck and drive system which is specifically designed to meet the requirements of those heavier duty applications.
Being a 4 in 1 mower, it will Cut, Cut and Collect, Side Discharge and MULCH. All Frisky Fox Mowers and are fitted with an ENGINE SPEED CONTROLLER giving you FULL CONTROL OF THE DRIVE SPEED, so you can adjust the mowing speed to a speed to suit you. .
WHY BUY QUADCUT?
A Quadcut mower gives twice the number of cuts and twice the cutting performance of a traditional bladed mower, so, unlike the traditional mower, a single pass will provide the quality of cut you require and will often cut those annoying rye grass stalks without a second pass.
Quadcut mowers have 4 aerodynamically designed blades which spin at up to 200MPH and they develop twice the suction effect on the grass clippings and twice the compaction effect on them in the grass catcher.
So overall a QuadCut is a much more efficient mower than a traditional mower.
But it doesn't stop there - QuadCut mower blades are flail blades which are pivoted on a central disc. (Flail technology has been used by farmers for grass and hedge cutting for years.). The benefit of a flail system on a mower is that should a blade hit a foreign object during use, it simply pivots away from the object and once past it, it resumes its normal cutting position. So less blade damage occurs to a QuadCut mower's blade system than a traditional mower.

spoil your self and buy one, delivery is good.
For this reason I selected this mower as it jas a reasonaly sized engine
It comes semi knock down requiring the handle to be fitted.
Remove the cable tie on the handle to release the dead man and drive levers before fitting the handle as these are under tension when fitting.
Check the direction of the bolt assemblies by reviewing the photos.
No oil in the engine so fill to max on the dipstick.
The dips tick supplied was not as shown and only the last 10mm is supposed to be covered. I would have expected it to be at least 25-35 mm as it leaves very allowance for error when filling.
Height adjustment is easy and positive. The 10 inch rear and 6 inch front wheels. Make moving a breeze.
Lift the cover plate at the rear to fit the collection bag and remember to remove the plastic deflection cover located in the mower discharge chute.
The mower has a steel frame but most components are plastic . Some deformation to the grass collection bag which has a plastic base and to the bag securing clips due to transit and packing. These needed warming to return to their approximate shape prior to assembly.
Once assembled, fuelled and primed started on the second pull. Releasing the dead man lever it cut out and restarted first pull with little effort.
Adjusted the height of cut and set off. As it is self propelled mowing is an easy walk.
All things considered I'm pleased with the performance for the price.
Because it runs at full pelt the thing is shaking itself to bits. already a metal connector has fallen off the bottom (holds the handle in place) - never to be seen again. Bottom line is - its rubbish. Maybe its just mine that's rubbish, not being the owner of every body else's I cant say. The customer service is poor.
I cant be without a mower for several weeks during grass cutting season. If they offered a refund I'd go and buy an alternative - but they don't, so I have 2 options. But another anyway or wait an undefined period of time for a repair and return (not to mention the grief of getting it packed up).
Bottom line - I was tempted by the price and promise - but the machine and the company failed to live up to expectations. I shall run the thing into the ground (which by current expectations - wont be long) and then purchase an alternative.
