I bought this for cutting 0.5mm stainless steel. It couldn't even start on 'nibble' because the serrated hard steel central nibble blade/claw/finger whatever it's called just slid off the edge of the metal. The idea is that it grips the piece and shears out a continuous slice but rather than the metal being drawn into the tool's jaw, the tool just backed off from the metal. I though maybe stainless is too tough so tried mild steel: same problem. I don't understand how this thing can ever work but I guess sometimes it does and I am unlucky. I bought a budget price bench-top sheet metal guillotine instead and so glad I did, but this is for my application (straight slicing flat sheet metal) whereas there are some jobs for which only a (good) nibbler can work.
I got an immediate refund from Amazon and used their seamless drop off service to send the thing back.

The build quality is very bad but i guess you get what you pay for considering it's £10 trying to attempt to cut 1mm sheet metal, and it failed horribly deforming and bending the cutting area.
Returned to vendor and instead opted to spend an hour with an angle grinder, 20 minutes with a dremel, and 3 minutes with a deburring tool to do the job instead.
