This motherboard was used for my first PC build and it's absolutely brilliant. I was contemplating whether to buy this or the gaming 7 board however after some extensive research I went with this one as it provides the same performance and extras at a better price, while still keeping its sleek design. I installed an i5 4690k along with a GTX 760 into a Corsair 200r case. I also installed a Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler which was a little tricky to position however I managed to secure it in place. Boot up was successful first time!
The board came with the stock BIOS v1.0 therefore I had to update it to the latest version which was v1.5 in order for my graphics card to install the latest drivers correctly. Please note that I used the MSI Forum Flash Tool to update the BIOS as this is the safest and most secure method of flashing.
It currently runs flawlessly on Windows 8.1 Pro. I can work and play games on max settings and will be overclocking in the future and/or implement SLI. Highly recommended.

This motherboard has great features I realised now I would of been a bit better to get the next one up the MSI Gaming 7 simply for the on Board OC button. But that's whats great about these motherboards unlike other where your choice is normally a cheap basic one (which you know wont do what you want. Or a overpriced one which has more than you need. MSI gives you so much choice especially with this Gaming motherboard line. And even for the basic one still come with features in the most expensive blinginy ones. This is why I love them. They give you all the important stuff on all of them.
My Favorite things about this motherboard.
Voltage check points and M.2 SSD slot at this price is great. Also the audio boost and isolated pcb really makes a difference you will notice straight away with the direct audio power and dual headphone amp's
