I'll just list the pros and cons rather than write a novel.
Pros:
It's solidly built, the metal gives in a very solid feel.
It's not heavy, I can easily pick it up and move to another room holding it open with one hand.
The touchscreen is very responsive.
It's quick enough for everyday tasks, you won't be playing games on it but it runs Photoshop fine.
The touchpad is excellent, it's accurate and responsive.
Cons:
Battery life is not 5 hours, it's nearer 3. You can squeeze a little more out by turning everything down but not much.
Battery takes way too long to charge, don't expect to charge it quickly, you won't.
The keyboard has no backlight so in a darkened room you can't see what you're typing, you could use Windows 8s on screen keyboard but that's not a great experience.
The charger is flimsy, there is a tiny plastic clip holding the pins to the rest of it, mine snapped off on day one.
Windows 8, it's horrible.
Would I recommend this? maybe, I replaced a tablet with this because I wanted the extra functionality while still being free to wander from one room to the next and for that it's fine. If you need to use it for more than 3 or 4 hours without a recharge then look somewhere else, the battery in this won't last that long.
Ask yourself "Do I really need a touchscreen"? if the answer is no then find something else, there are better specced machines at this price, I personally found the touchscreen a nice addition.
