Although the taste of this mouthwash is great, I feel that it's too strong and harsh. My gums, lips and tongue always feel raw after using this and it often results in skin peeling off my inner lip.

It leaves my teeth clean and breath fresh but the side effects are not worth it. It may be as it has alcohol in it which is contributing to the dry mouth. I don't have a sensitive mouth or teeth so I am attributing this to the mouthwash.

I haven't experienced whitening at all since use.

Personally not for me.

I usually use a cheaper mouthwash formulation such as Listerine after brushing my teeth; I have had allergic reactions to a certain ingredient in regular adult toothpastes such as Colgate Total so I started using the children's toothpaste which is milder and supplementing this with a regular mouthwash. Inevitably, from time to time, you get an episode of bleeding gums (gingivitis I presume) so this is when I hit a bottle of the stronger stuff. Corsodyl usually clears this up within three or four days of use twice a day in the morning and before bed. Highly recommended although it's probably cheaper when on special offer in your local supermarket.

I received a SPANISH-language bottle, only 6-in-1 benefits, not clean mint.

Will not buy again from this seller. I want to receive what I paid for.

We're quite picky as to which mouthwashes we use. This is the only version of Listerine that we like but it is our preferred mouthwash over others on the market. When used after brushing teeth It definitely leaves the mouth feeling fresh and clean. It also freshens the breath. There is a child-proof top on the bottle.

This is a great value, large bottle, especially when bought on "subscribe&save".

Be aware, this version of Listerine contains alcohol, though not drinkable.

There is a warning label saying 'Not suitable for children under 12 years' and also warns not to swallow and to get medical attention if you do.

Listerine was first developed as a surgical and then dental antiseptic. It was named in honour of Joseph Lister, who pioneered antiseptics.
