    This is a great product, and it even came with a handy pouch! I can recommend Fenix torches to anyone who camps or travels or even to check if the meat is cooked properly on the braai/BBQ.

    I've only had this light for about 3 weeks now. But I can tell you the initial quality feels excellent. It feels like a strong, well made tool. The light is also super bright. On a dark night at full power, if I point it up it looks like I'm sending the bat signal up in the sky. No joke! The 240 lumens make pitch black darkness almost seem like daylight. The multiple settings, like the 6 lumen setting is awesome and comes in handy more often then you might think. My only complaint is that a few times I've been able to get the light to turn off well the on button was still on. Granted this could have been something I did as I wasn't really paying much attention any of the times it has happened. And when it has happened turning the bezel or hitting the power switch again quickly turned it back on. That's why it's 4 stars

    Update: I realize this flashlight is now probably somewhat outdated. But here it is, I guess 4 years later, and this light is still going strong! I bumped the rating up to 5 stars because I realized what was causing the turning off problem I had and it hasn't happened since, and the light is STILL, 4 year later, my go to flashlight for hiking, camping, checking the noise in my pitch black country backyard, weapon light, you name it!

    This is one very bright light, the brightest i've ever owned, its virtually blinding even in daylight, the throw distance is very good for such a small light... excellent, the SOS feature is a little tricky, hence my reason for the four stars it is because this feature stopped working after just a month

    Still on the original battery. Fantastic. Ideally suited for use in conjunction with a firearm, but I also just use it around the house for rather mundane tasks like looking for lost items in dark places. However, the highest 2 settings are perfect for tactical use. The dim setting is perfect for camping or when you just need enough light to see where you are walking, but don't need so much light to do detail work.

    Well, kinda make a person wonder when a product dies two months after the warranty runs out. This light might be five years old, bit it's basically new, having been kept in a bedstand for emergencies. Goong to be interesting to see what Fenix does... repair for free as if still under warranty, or charge me for repairs. I hate to just chuck this in the trash. Going to call Fenix to see what repair costs might be. If high, I'm going to purchase a higher lumen Thrulite instead.
