Reviewing from an entirely biased point of view, of course, this remastered edition freshens up the mid-1980s original well, and deserves a five score. Its theme is declared in the album's title, about those living in a self-created, financially predatory world, echoes of which are all too familiar in 2009.

The musical style benefits from no less than five different lead vocalists, and goes between the more melodic `Separate lives' and `Same old sun' to the crisp and robotic instrumental `Hawkeye', all of which benefit from Parsons' technical skill in providing a superbly-layered sound with some of the best stereo separation you're likely to encounter.

If you're into classical music or heavy metal, APP's probably not going to appeal too much, but APP-ites will relish the quality of this release and the bonus tracks.

The song, Let's talk about me, starts the fanfare as the album explores the selfishness of our culture. This really comes out in the song, Somebody Out There, where an identity is stolen, where " someone's using your face . . ." Overall, a wonderful album.
