    This box must have been re-issued as I have the original black box as shown in the 3rd photograph. However, for lovers of that gentle West Coast country-rock sound, this box is a must. Forget about those damn horrible plastic jewel cases, (jewel - junk is more like it!), these albums come in accurate reproductions of the original vinyl including the inner sleeves. If you had, or still have the original albums, but want to get the CDs, then buy this box - you will not be disappointed.

    Is there any point in reviewing the albums themselves, well, not really with this band. However, the "bonus single" thrown in is little more than an oddity to me. One last thought though, as this appears to be a re-issue in the new livery of grey, it's a pity that it wasn't updated with Long Road Out Of Eden which would have been of more benefit than the single.

    So, "One Of These Nights" let the "Eagles" take you with the "Desperado" on "The Long Run" down "On The Border" to "Hotel California", I bet you'll enjoy the flight and come back for more - maybe "Eagles Live".

    A complete set of The Eagles 1970's works. A lovely collection for all fans. Each disc hosts a replica of the original artwork and sleeve.The sturdy box they come in will ensure they are kept in top condition. Excellent value for money.A collectors 'must have'.Buy one before it's too late!!

    Excellent coffret, les fac similés vinyles sont très bien recréés (la photo intérieure du 1er album est à l'envers: c'est normal, c'est comme ça que le disque est sorti), les albums sont très bons, ces années pour les Eagles sont bien sûr les meilleures. Il est agréable d'y trouver le 45t sorti en 1978 'Please come Home for Xmas', mais décevant de ne pas avoir la jolie face B du 1er single 'Take it Easy' ou d'autres chutes de studio (il faut le coffret 4cds paru en 2000 pour en avoir un peu).
    Si l'on veut du très bon rock californien: GO FOR IT !

    さすがは「Rhinoレーベル」と思わせるリマスターで各アルバム非常に高い
    クオリティーで約30年前の音とは思えない程に仕上がっています。
    毎回感じますがこのRhinoは本当に素晴らしい仕事しますね。

    他の方のレビューにもあるように当時のままのジャケットでしっかりと
    ダブル・ジャケットも再現されてレコード時代に明らかに質感の違う輸入盤で
    アメリカを感じていた方には懐かしい仕様になっています。
    さすがにあの“匂い”までは再現されていませんが。
    ただ、紙ジャケは取り扱いに気を使うのが難点。

    ２万セット限定での発売から約3年経っていますが、さすがのイーグルスでも
    ２万セットはハードルが高いのでしょうか。

    最後にトリビアをひとつ
    アルバム「LONG RUN」のインナースリーブの曲目が書かれている面の下部に
    「Printed in Japan」と記載されていますがインナースリーブを起こす元ネタが
    日本盤しか無かったのでしょうか。そんなものなのでしょうかね。

    Die sehr gut und stabil verarbeitete Box ist nicht wie abgebildet grau, sondern schwarz mit Goldaufdruck. Es sind alle Alben der frühen Jahre als DigiPack in Aufmachung der Origianl LP, also auch z.B. Hotel California mit Klappcover, enthalten. Einen Stern Abzug muss ich jedoch geben, ich vermisse das Album "Hell freezes over".
