    I thought the TV series in 1976 and 1977 was superb so i bought the Rock Follies Of 77 LP back in 1977.
    Whilst enjoyable i found the sound quality of the original Polydor release was so thin that i hardly played it.
    This CD remaster, and its sister release 'Rock Follies Of 77' sound quality are whilst 'edgy' at times, are highly enjoyable and leave a lasting impression of the vocal talents of the three highly accomplished actors Ms Covington, Ms Lenska and Ms Cornwell.
    Fantastic TV series from the 1970s and a great pair of song track releases to accompany the DVD releases.

    I must have been a teenager, when the TV series was shown and by the time I had sung my way through all the songs, I realised my older sisters must have bought the album as I remembered all the words. The sound quality is not as good as what we are used to now, but is part of the cham of revisiting this series and the lovely ladies who played the characters.     5 stars because of Julie's wonderful voice, however its not perfect as there were songs in the TV show that are still missing, it would've been nice to have had them added to the cd. Even if you haven't seen the tv show this album can be listened to, and no one can listen to it without recognizing and enjoying the sheer brilliance of Julie Covington.

    I remember watching the TVprogramme all those years ago and all the songs featured on it they were good Julie Covington has a good voice. I have bought the mp3 and burnt it on to a disc for my sister for a Christmas present as my sister likes them and used to have the vinyl album of them.

    I was so totally blown away by this CD! When I was very young - not quite as young as six! - my then husband and I used to watch the Little Ladies in the series, and we both loved it. When I got a bit older, and then husband departed for greener pastures, I bought a tape, and played it frequently. When I lost my tape players (something to do with 'improvements' in technology!), I was devastated.
    When I discovered the CD on Amazon I bought it in a flash. The music is still as meaningful - to me! - as it was back then. I now have the album on my computers and my iPod, and listen to it when I feel nostalgic.
    I would heartily recommend this CD to people who like music with a beat (although there are some 'quiet' numbers). Julie Covington is my favourite 'Little Lady', but the group sounds great together.
    The CD may not be as interesting to those who did not see the series, and those who prefer their R'n'R loud, but I loved it.

    この作品、７６年当時イギリスでＴＶ放映されていた「ロック・フォリーズ」（女の子３人組のロック成功物語）という番組のサントラアルバムなのですが、プロデュース、全作曲、演奏（サックス）ともロキシーミュージックのサックス＆オーボエ奏者であるアンディ・マッケイが担当しているというアルバムです。

    サウンドは女の子３人組がロキシー風のサウンドで歌っているような曲やマッケイのソロ作っぽい曲に合わせて女の子３人組みが歌っている曲もあり、初期〜中期（７２年〜７５年）のロキシーファンだったら気に入るアルバムだと思います。
