From the Industrial revolution and onward, the world has become an environment that is overflowing with dangerous toxins. Mass manufacturing has resulted in thousands of chemical pollutants being released in the atmosphere, water, and soil. As well, there has been a widespread increase of chemicals being added to almost every type of food and retail product. With this overwhelming chemical exposure, there has been an increase in research and studies showing the life threatening impacts on our health and well being. In her book, Our Chemical Lives And The Hijacking of Our DNA, author Catherine J Frompovich delves into the effects of a chemical laden world on the body at a cellular level.

Encyclopaedic work describing just about everything around you that could be harmful. I learned a lot from it. However, as a sufferer from Multiple chemical sensitivity I was a little disappointed that there was very little in it about what to do if you are already I'll as a result of chemicals. However, very highly recommend.

A terriffic look at the truth behind many of our everyday purchases, the air we breathe and the modern way we live. This is difficult reading if you don't yet understand what is happening, and especially if you believe that there are agencies which are protecting all of us from these dangers. Our DNA is at risk and therefore, our future generations!

A profoundly eye-opening narrative...not something to be read in one sitting, but something to be read slowly and digested. This is a wake up call if ever there was one to the slow destruction of our bodies. If you have ever considered going "organic", this will be the determiner.

Catherine Frompovitch has written an excellent, well-researched and well-documented treatise on the dangerous chemical soup we find ourselves living in today. I recommend this book highly. The information is invaluable to everyone, especially those of us who take our health seriously.
